Author Bio

Laura Marsh has worked in children's publishing for nearly twenty years as an editor, packager, and currently as an author. She has written numerous books in the National Geographic Kids Readers series, including Great Migrations, Sea Turtles, and Spiders.

Fascinating! Not Frightening!!

This book was for my almost-4 year old granddaughter who lives in Wisconsin, and visits Papa and Mima in the Florida Keys. Florida is home to the American alligator, and the American crocodile. Being able to see both species when she's here has been one of her favorite things to do. The book provides photos, and information about both, and reinforces what she already knows about them. Great NG quality, as usual, and supportive of NG's larger mission!

Great giveaway

We gave these books out to the kids as a party favor for a first grade birthday party. It is a great way to encourage reading and the kids all loved it.
