Comments about 823 Goat Rocks, Norse Peak and William O. Douglas Wilderness Areas (Gifford Pinchot, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie, and Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forests) Trail Map:

I was really looking forward to getting this and other new NG maps for Washington to help plan future multi-day hikes, but was really disappointed to find out they don't have any of the mileage for trails on them. This makes them pretty much useless for planning and use in the backcountry. It shows trails, but without knowing measured distances (i.e. 2.9 miles, 1.5 miles) like other maps show on them, I have not much use for them. Sure you could use the distance scale, but with winding trails thats only a guess at best. Expected better from NG.
