I absolutely love this magazine, when I found the first issue at the airport I thought of it as just another National Geographic with a ton of ads. This though completely passed my expectations and I absolutely love reading everything and they make them so interesting that it's hard to stop once you start. I would recommend this to anybody who likes History or just needs more info on a subject because they give so much info that can help anybody learn in such an interesting way. Truly the only thing I can't stand is that it's only bimonthly because I would read one every month.

Purchased History and it looked good, but after reading several articles I found it disappointing, it just lacks depth in the subject being written about, it is just telling me what I already know. I never said a word to my wife about my observation but she felt exactly the same. I have signed up for a year earlier, I just hope who ever reads these reviews takes note of the comments.

Comments about National Geographic History Magazine U.S Delivery:

I enjoy this mag as a beautifully illustrated overview of various historical subjects. It is not meant to be an exhaustive look at anything. It presents moments in history, mainly of Western culture and of which I'm loosely familiar, and brightens them with photos.

Comments about National Geographic History Magazine U.S Delivery:

I love this magazine. I find that it covers aspects of history that are interesting, engaging, and obscure. I appreciate that the magazine covers time periods outside of World War II (which is so accessible). I wish that we could receive monthly issues, but I also appreciate the amount of time that must go into the production of each issue.

Comments about National Geographic History Magazine U.S Delivery:

I love this magazine. Each issue contains a wide variety of subjects with just enough information. If an article whets your appetite you can research subject further. Some might find longer articles boring. I also subscribe to Nat Geo magazine and love the balance between the two.

I was excited to receive the first issue, and was disappointed when I received it. Informative, but lacks depth. Lots of pretty pictures though. If the rest of the issues are like this, will not renew.

Bought this for my enjoyment and our grandson's use in the classroom. He reviewed the first issue and plans to archive them until he has his own classroom. It makes long-ago history real and easy to align with what is going on in today's world.

I love this magazine! The articles are in depth enough to cover the subjects and are not long and boring with a lot of theological garb! And I can't say enough about the pictures...... true NG Style......GORGEOUS! And I like that its a bimonthly magazine, it shows that National Geographic cares about choosing and putting together a quality magazine.....making sure the articles are interesting and the pics are subperb! This is the best magazine that I`ve ever subscribed to.....Great job NG!!
