Bland Crowder is associate director and editor for the Flora of Virginia Project, whose Flora of Virginia was published in December 2012. He is also a freelance writer and editor. He lives in Richmond, Virginia.


Jared Travnicek is a medical illustrator with a Master of Arts in Medical and Biological Illustration from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is based in Indianapolis, IN, where he works as a neurosurgical illustrator.
