Works with newer iPads!

I bought this for my classroom because we have two new students from Egypt. With the Egypt puzzle assembled, I tried to use the app with the older iPad I had at home - nothing, then tried the iPad at school (I think it is a Four) and it didn't work, but we have 10 new iPad Airs and it worked with those! The kids loved the pop ups and the music and the pictures. The content went by quickly, but I kept the puzzle assembled and wrapped it with cling wrap so I can use it again with other students. It was a big hit, and taught them the concept of Augmented Reality as well as being a fun interactive activity about Egypt. I used it with grades 3 - 5.

Really a great puzzle. Having extensively toured the sites, I appreciated the accuracy as well as having great fun doing the puzzle.

Not for ages 7+; online component is minimal

The puzzle is good, but quite difficult. I don't think very many 7 year olds could manage it. It was far too difficult for our almost 10 year old daughter. Also, the information provided in the online component is pretty minimal -- it doesn't offer much information or any interesting details about the sites pictured. I wouldn't buy it again.

Captivating

It was a Christmas gift to my grandson who lives in a small town. It sparks his curiosity and his wish to travel.
