Mixed signals on age

I bought this for my 5-year-old early reader grandchild, but I'm not sure it is right for her. Cover and games (counting, etc) suggest younger audience, but text is about right for her to read,at least with some help. I guess I'd like you to make clearer in descriptions what the target age group is.

Fun

Bought this for my 3 year old grandson. He loves it. He enjoyed finding bugs in his backyard.

I would highly recommend this book.

I gave this to my 4 year old granddaughter, and my 2 year old is facsinated by it, too. We have already spotted insects we know and looked them up. The facts are detailed but written as a child can understand them. They love finding new bugs - especially the ones with funny (or scary!) names. Well made, this book will last for years to come, even with our 2 year old's reputation of being a page tearer. She sits quietyly looking at the pages, saying, "I love you, bug". It's a wonderful book.
