    No. the Genographic Project will not conduct any health-related tests on the DNA samples provided by participants. The DNA analysis conducted by National Geographic is intended to determine what migratory routes your deep ancestors followed, on which branch of the human family tree you belong, and what your regional genetic affiliations are. The markers analyzed to generate these results do not have any current known health-related association.

  • Delivery

    Not available for shipment to Russia and Mexico. Geno 2.0 has $9.95 Shipping & Handling (S&H) per kit for delivery.
    Customers shipping to countries other than the United States and Canada will be charged $20 per order for S&H plus $9.95 per kit. Additional fees apply for expedited shipping.
  • Returns

    Due to the cost of the DNA analysis, once the kit has been opened, we cannot accept returns or administer refunds. If the purchase is for your first DNA Product, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase as long as you have not yet received and registered your DNA Collection Kit. This refund will deduct shipping and handling fees and a $25 cancellation fee. You can request a refund by calling National Geographic Store Customer Service at 1-888-557-4450 and providing your order confirmation number. Once you have received and registered your DNA Collection Kit, your purchase can no longer be refunded.
    If the purchase is not for your first DNA Product, it is not subject to any refund. This policy is due to the informational nature of many DNA Products.
