Love these location-specific coasters

A friend bought these coasters for us when we moved into our new home (with our new home address being the central point on the four coasters). I enjoy our coasters so much that I’ve gifted them to two friends who have also recently moved. It’s a unique gift (thanks to the home address being the picture on the coasters) yet also practical. They also feel solid (heavy, in a good way as in they’re durable and well made). And the maps on the coasters look really nice - just like how they’re portrayed on the photos on the website. The only downside (and it’s more of a personal preference) is that I like coasters that absorb condensation (so cork or wood ones) more just because they’re better able to withstand a “sweaty” glass with ice cubes over time. However, I like the look of these so much, I don’t mind a little glass “sweat” landing on these coasters from time to time and they air dry great - no streaks or anything yet and we’ve had and used them for months!

My Town Coaster Value

High quality product .... nice personalized gift. Was planning to do 6 more for Xmas, but cost seems a bit excessive.

Great gift to anyone for anything!

These geographic specific coasters are the best item in years! I have used them over and over again for so many friends in the past 5 years. Everyone raves about them.

Great, but Disappointing

Oh, I was so pumped about this -- the perfect Christmas gift for my wife. The coasters are beautiful -- genuine marble, wow! The really disappointing thing is the placement of the compass-like "you are here" thing -- it's right over the actual address, the purpose of the whole map, the reason to invest in a keepsake -- so "my" street, the adjoining street names are all covered by the symbol. Sigh Really? And out of the four coasters, two are pretty worthless, just showing green mountainous areas. I wish there had been some kind of follow-up email to show the placement of the four different coasters. I would have gladly suggested, instead of putting the starting address in the middle, do everything off-center to show the rest of the streets, not just terrain. Sigh I did not say anything to my wife. She was pleased and surprised, but she quickly looked up and said, "But you can't even see the name of our street?" Sigh I was a history major. I grew up in this town. This was really going to be "the perfect" gift, and almost was.
