The village of Stewarton, on the west coast of Scotland, was once a bustling wool district. Today only a few mills remain to process the lanolin-rich wool of local sheep into quality yarns. Naturally insulating and water-resistant, Stewarton wool was an excellent choice for the misty weather off the North Atlantic, and remains so anywhere that travelers are likely to encounter chilly or damp conditions. This pullover features a cable knit, inspired by the everyday tools of Scottish fishermen and said to represent a wish for good luck and safety on the waters. Quarter-zip collar. 100% Shetland wool. Hand-wash or dry clean. Made in Scotland.
