Andean Blossom Alpaca Sweater
For more than 6,000 years, quinoa has been an essential crop in the high altitudes of the Andes—so important that the Inca emperor would sow the first seeds each year using golden tools. The quinoa's flowers are visible across the Altiplano during the growing season and are the inspiration for the pattern on this hand-knit cardigan. Eight distinct shades of 100% alpaca yarn are used to create a field of colorful maroon, blue, and white blossoms on a field of swirling vines. High-loft alpaca fiber has a long Andean history, prized for its softness, lightness, and warmth. Hand-wash or dry clean. Handmade in Bolivia.

Women's sizes S (4–6), M (8-10), L (12-14), XL (16-18).
