This new map of Korea displays pictures and maps of the Korean War on one side and modern maps of the two Koreas on the other side. Inset maps compare the population density and military forces of North and South Korea. Detailed colorized relief maps reveal the rugged physical geography of the Korean peninsula. New place-names introduced by the South Korean government are shown—changing places such as Pusan to Busan and Cheju to Jeju. The new South Korean high-speed railroad, schedules to open in 2004 is shown connecting Seoul to Busan.
