Since it became a regular part of Indian dress in the 12th century, the long, loose tunic called a kurta has evolved over the centuries as each generation of women creates its own style. Our black cotton tunic features paisley designs from the Parsi, a close-knit Indian community descended from eighth-century Persian refugees, blended with embroidered florals adapted from sari patterns. Split-V neckline and bell sleeves with high-contrast herringbone ribbon appliqué. Hand-wash or dry clean. Made in India.
