An eight-week-old Mexican grey wolf pup bred in captivity in the Sedgwick County Zoo, Wichita, Kansas. One of the most endangered wolves in the world, the Mexican grey wolves are thought to be extinct in the wild, and the birth of this pup along with the other seven pups in the litter was a major event. Its offspring will probably be released into the wild. Mexican grey wolves are the rarest and southernmost of all grey wolves. 20'' x 16''.
