One thousand years ago, Peru's indigenous Uro people built totora-reed islands on Lake Titicaca to escape Inca rule. The Uro textile tradition was deeply ingrained with their relationship to the lake, and this contemporary pima cotton sweater is inspired by traditional Uro fabrics. Today, local artisans use threads in colors inspired by the lake's unusually deep blue to create a crewneck sweater made from the softest 100% Peruvian pima cotton available. Handmade in Bolivia. Hand-wash or dry clean.
