The quilting method called ''trapunto,'' which accents this lightweight jacket, is found in the traditional garments worn in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley. Handmade from breathable 100% cotton, this colorful, cultural travel jacket features hidden zippered pockets that offer a secure place to stash valuables. With a stand up collar, front patch pockets, and carved horn buttons, it is a beautiful way to carry the culture of the world with you on your travels.
Handmade by artisans in Nepal. Women’s sizes S (4–6), M (8–10), L (12–14), XL (16–18), XXL (20).
Machine wash.

Comments about Nepalese Travel Jacket:
Not a bad product, but beware the color is nowhere near as deep and attractive as in the photo.
Considering returning it, because of color not being as advertised and also awkward fit (very bulky).
Given that I paid $18 just to ship it, this was not a good buy.

Sizing not right

Comments about Nepalese Travel Jacket:
The sizing needs to be reviewed. The shoulders in my jacket were way too broad compared to the rest of the garments. The sleeves can be rolled up so the jacket accommodates any sleeve length. The material is a very thin cotton .

Comments about Nepalese Travel Jacket:
Design universally appreciated by 15-year old daughter's friends - an arcane "approval" group. 15-yr. old daughter's clothes get majority of viewing exposure in high school - wide exposure and feedback.

Comments about Nepalese Travel Jacket:
I washed this jacket before wearing it for the first time and was delighted with the resulting fit.It has a wonderfully flattering style (the trapunto quilting is really unusual although not as warm as expected) and the sleeves shrank well in the wash!Love this jacket-it will quickly become my fav.

Nice casual jacket

Cons

Comments about Nepalese Travel Jacket:
This is a very nice casual, lightweight, all-cotton jacket. Catalog description didn't say it was lined, so I was glad to see that it is. Fabric seemed a bit stiff at first, but after washing (dried on hanger) it relaxed. Will be perfect for my trip to Florence, Italy in April. Only thing I would change is the zipper inside the pockets -- scratchy on my hands. I'd prefer a hidden pocket on the inside of the jacket.
