The Mac version of this product has glaring bugs that make it impossible to recommend. The button icons do not appear, so you have to click in the empty space above the button title to perform a function or change mode. When I downloaded a track log from my Garmin eTrex Legend HCx handheld GPS unit, the waypoints showed up as big, black squares. It doesn't look like National Geographic did much testing of this product on the Mac platform. Earlier versions of the Topo! software worked fine, and I was hoping for improvements with the latest version, but was mightily disappointed.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
