This is called a jacket, but it is lighter weight than most boiled wool. I wear it in place of a sweater over a turtleneck but I still need a coat in the winter.

I was hoping to replace the large I ordered with a medium. Fortunately by the time my return was processed there was a medium available. I wear a large jacket,size 14 but the large was huge. It took over a month for this return to be processed. It was well worth the wait. This is absolutely striking and I'll enjoy wearing it.

Best for use as a sweater over another layer, not as a jacket. Works well for someone with broad shoulders and long arms. The boiled wool is not as thick as others I've seen, but the design is very pretty.

It was a Lovely jacket. I would have ordered a Medium, but saw where it ran large, so ordered a Small, BUT even the small was too large! I loved the look and the warmth of the jacket, and thought about alterations, but the problem was, in order to have the design the shoulders were very wide and the pattern would not have looked right with the shoulder width reduced. I had to return it. It was a great jacket that I hated to have to return!

This jacket has received multiple compliments. It's attractive and warm. It does run large. I am usually a medium and the small fit perfectly. I would recommend this jacket to everyone.

The sweater is beautiful and nicely made, but not exactly as it appears in the photograph. The jacket is longer than shown. The sleeves are the same length as jacket, whereas the one in the photograph has sleeves that are longer than the jacket. The cut of the jacket is straight, not nipped in at the waist as it appears in the photo. The description is also ambiguous. While the designer was a Norwegian, the jacket was made in China.
