With a landscape that includes Amazonian rain forests in the east and the Andean Altiplano in the west, Bolivia is as diverse geographically as it is culturally. Artisans in western Bolivia hand-loom superfine alpaca fiber, a warm and weather-resistant material used by the Aymara and Quechua for centuries, to create this contemporary cardigan. Their pattern is influenced by the wrought iron found on Jesuit churches in the eastern rain forests, and features one of Bolivia’s two national flowersthe Amazonian patuju.
Four-button closure. 100% alpaca. Crafted in La Paz, Bolivia. Women’s sizes S (4–6), M (8–10), L (12–14), XL (16–18).
It's super neat: the collar is unusual and looks dressy. The buttons are metal with patterns on them. Can be used with black trousers or skirt for day or for an informal night out for dinner, movies, theatre. Long sleeves and body just fit me (XL). Thrilled with this coat!
Feels true to size
