Women in the western Indian region of Rajasthan create this jacket in the reverse-appliqué tradition of the village of Barmer. Two pieces of fabric are joined with swirling stitches. Then the top layer of fabric is trimmed away, revealing a semi-sheer pattern. This jacket is slightly tailored at the waist and features mother-of-pearl buttons. Handcrafted in Rajasthan, India.
Women’s sizes S (4-6), M (8-10), L (12-14), XL (16-18).
Please note: We’re sorry, due to recently tightened restrictions on the import and export of mother of pearl, we are not able to ship the Barmer Appliqué Jacket outside of the U.S.
