I bought this watch for myself when it originally went on sale about 6 months ago, as I do not like to wear a watch on my wrist. I love it! I made a second purchase of the same item last month, for my husband as he was having difficulty trying to find a wristwatch that was large enough for him to wear comfortably. He loves it too!

The watch is very good for those who do not want to wear a wrist watch or carry a cell phone and want to have the time readily available. It attaches to anything that has a loop or buttonhole type opening. Very hard to keep the crown in the "open" position to conserve the battery if not using daily. Not sure how water resistant it is since it is not mentioned in any literature.

The knob for setting the time is hard to use, not much clearance. Cannot read the time at night unless right under a light source. Very nice looking clip watch.

Sturdy , well made, weighty but hard to open if you don't have nails to pry the cover off the face.. The cover does provide protection for the watch face and crystal and shows that you are a fan of Nat Geo. Nice gift for someone if they do not need to check the time often or have a free hand to constantly open and close it.

My Dad loved getting this watch for Father's Day. It's really heavy and durable with a magnet clasp and something he can wear everyday. When you wear it, the face is looking upward from your belt.
