Chand bali are traditional Southeast Asian earrings with crescent moon-shaped decoration, worn by girls and women of all ages. Here, Indonesian jewelers borrow that classic style and add their own twist—a curved filigree leaf nestled within a circle that represents the fulfillment of life’s duty, an important part of Indonesian spiritual beliefs. Sterling silver.

Handcrafted in Indonesia. Sterling silver. Approximately 7/8" diameter.

better than i expected

Comments about Indonesian Filigree Hoop Earrings:

I bought these earrings because they were discounted and I liked the leaf design. I was prepared to have to adjust the earwire to make them stay on. The maker must have changed the length of the wire a bit, or maybe the other reviewer got a pair with a shorter wire, but I didn't need to do anything to mine to make them stay on, and they have become a favorite pair of mine.

Comments about Indonesian Filigree Hoop Earrings:

I like these earrings. They are pretty and delicate. But they will not stay latched. I haven't lost them yet, but I have quit wearing them. I have tried bending the end of the wire, but it didn't work.
