36''W x 24''L

National Geographic Society Contributing Photographer-in-Residence Frans Lanting has spent the past 20 years of his life living mostly in the wild in an effort to document nature's vanishing treasures. One of the most acclaimed photographic visionaries of our age, his award-winning work is marked by an extraordinarily intimate perspective. Lanting's unique images are the result of his belief that complete immersion in his subjects' world is required for the perfect shot, along with his willingness to endure almost any adversity in pursuit of that goal.

Comments about National Geographic Cougar Poster:

This is a gift for family members who are animal lovers and support the local zoo. I'll have it framed for a gift for their entertainment area.
The only negative comment is that it was packed so tightly in ths shipping tube that it took almost an hour for me to remove it. It was wrapped with another print in protective paper and then jammed into the tube so that I had to use a blade and scissors, cutting an inch at a time to remove it. I contacted customer service when I found that it was so poorly packaged but they could not do anything since it was a shipping error. I was just happy to be able to remove both prints without them getting torn.
