Canyonlands is the little-known jewel of the American National Parks. This stark landscape of extraordinary features contains more than 300,000 acres of desert wilderness, towering spires and spectacular canyons.

But this rugged terrain is more than a pretty picture—it is a history book of time. Its stories stretch from the geologic forces that created this land, to the beginnings of life on earth and from ancient people, to the cowboys and outlaws of the Old West. Venture beyond the tourist hotspots and discover the hidden secrets of Canyonlands National Park.

Bonus programs: Colorado Mountain Lions and Wild Chronicles: Yellowstone River.

Not available for shipment outside of the U.S. and Canada.

Comments about Canyonlands DVD:

Although the majority of views are wonderful, there are too many fast or speed views which could have been shown slower if all the National Geographic advertising was eliminated in the beginning. However this is a great DVD in which to view the Park so you can plan what you want to see when you go there. It's a marvelous Park and very big. Take time to see it & walk some of it - especially the Needles area. The drive there is worth it.
