I bought them for my husband on recommendation of his Neurologist. He has varicose veins and Parkinsons disease. The only real problem is that my husband has big feet (size 13 shoe) and his calves are rather large. He has a great deal of trouble getting them on and I am afraid he may tear them trying the way he trys to put them on.
Also, we feel that the socks are too expensive for us on fixed income.

We have used them for international and national travel, and find they are wonderful for preventing swelling of feet and of calves. They wear and wash well. We just bought extras for our mothers to try out.
