This is one amazing idea, fantastic collection of the different areas in the US! Some of them are older than others, but at the end of the day they make you open your eyes a bit more about the areas. Now if you have done extensive research on an area it will more than likely not give you anything NEW per say, but that doesn't mean that they lack content at all. Overal an AMAZING collection! Just note the casing feels a little bit more flimsy than your average DVD collection casing. Like the paper isn't as strong.

We are extremely disappointed with the purchase. the DVDs all focus on 1 agenda global warming and the narration centers around areas that are inaccessible to the general public. I would rate this in the negative number. We were expecting to learn information about the(1) geological information of various sites in the parks, (2) the various plants and wildlife that live in the parks, including how they co- exist where applicable and (3) opportunities that visitors have to view the various areas.
For anyone who wishes to travel inside the United States, this video series will force that wanderlust upon you. Visually stunning and well researched, this series is the best gift I could have purchased for one of my sons. He is going to be thrilled, and I expect he will have a marathon movie night when he gets this.
