Awesome read. I've looked through many books that outline desirable journeys and places to go, but this book held a special place above the rest. Its photographs made you desire the journey, and its general outline on each trip was very helpful. It included maps, tips, and somewhat detailed descriptions.
There is no such thing as a book that can describe every possible journey out there, but this one managed 500 in good detail, so I was impressed.
The only thing it lacked was its layout. It WAS overall organized, but if the reader wished to search for a specific trip, they would have to head into the index. The book is organized by journey type (By water, walking, air, etc.)
It is only logic, also, to do extra homework on each trip. Although this book is very detailed, I do not recommend using ONLY this book as your reference. It is smart to use other resources before embarking on one of these journeys.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
