Blue Heron Weather Vane with Garden Pole
Anyone who has lived near U.S. coastal areas has seen great blue herons perched on roofs or in treetops. Found from the Galápagos to northern Maine, the bird was once hunted for its long plumage; now, habitat loss is its biggest threat. Mounted on a garden pole, a gazebo, or high atop a roof, these functional weather vanes are reminders of the great bird’s beauty.
Handcrafted of aluminum with a verdigris patina. 17"W x 25"H x 6"D (including directional and ball). Garden pole is 44 1/4"H, plus a 9" pronged base to insert into the ground for stability.
Approximately 10 minutes to assemble; requires a screwdriver.
