I love this map! It's great for following the locations in books and historical stories. Large and easy to read, beautiful to look at, the map is wonderful! The only problem I've had is that it's a bit unwieldy because it keeps wanting to roll back up on itself because of the laminate. On the other hand one of the best things about the map is the lamination, which makes it virtually indestructible. And did I mention this Nat Geo Map is Beautiful?!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I use the map to keep track of our bucket list travels, using map pins of different colors for where I/we've been and where we want to go. The laminated map had to be mounted on foam core to stop it curling, and allow pin use. It was expensive for what it is. The type/general dimensions could usefully have been larger, it's difficult to read. Recommend a 4 x 6 foot range size for easier use.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
