I am traveling to Alaska and wanted a good map of the state to put on my personal computer. I couldn't get what I wanted off the state of alaska travel sites and the department of transportation, so I looked to Nat Geo and bought their map. I took pictures of it with a professional canon lens and now I have something much better than otherwise available. The detail they have compared to other maps is really impressive. Not only am I using the whole map in a single picture, but closeups of the inside passage, southern/peninsula, and northern.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
