Comments about Historic Mediterranean, 800 BC to AD 1500 Map:
This map is most useful for referencing antiquated and alternate place names not available in atlases or encyclopedia. Its very useful for general understanding of ancient Mediterranean civilizations. A good reference for those interested in biblical and ancient studies.
The road and sea trade route lines are not all that useful, if a bit distracting. The overall print quality of this map is wanting, and not so sharp as other NG maps I've acquired.
In summary, I'm glad to have this for reference, and am glad its on my wall!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
