As far as we can see with our ever-improving telescopes, there are at least a hundred billion galaxies throughout the universe. Each, like the Milky Way, is an "island universe" containing billions of stars.
This map uses graphic "leaps of scale" to show how our solar system fits within the vastness of the universe. The map also includes a universe timeline and a description of its evolution.

I have this map from the magazine. I had it on the wall for years. I took it down to use on the floor for my kids. It's now in shreads. I'm ordering 3 more. I wish it was on better quality paper to withstand repeated folding and unfolding. I love this map.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The paper used to print this poster should be thicker. The current material used gives this a cheap feel. I beleive this is exactly the same poster that was folded and distribted within their magazine. I expected something better, this was not worth the money. Also, it could have been larger.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
