Comments about The Milky Way Map :
This is a wonderful presentation of our current understanding of the Milky Way. It contains both the overall view, as well as the local solar neighborhood (although not a view of the Solar System, since that is vanishingly miniscule on this scale, and would be misleading to include).
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about The Milky Way Map :
When I first saw this map I was truly awestruck at how our small solar system fits into the Milky Way. Something I think everyone should see to understand where we are in the universe!

Comments about The Milky Way Map :
Who made this map? Fire them! This map is not made for the general public! We need to see our entire solar system and all the planets in it to be able to relate to it. (even if its only a small blown up portion in the top corner with a tag). Do this and you will sell more maps and even a wallpaper map for an entire wall. Send me your marketing directors paycheque for the month for having to do his job for him!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
