Comments about 1949 British Isles Map:
The paper was a little more slick than I had anticipated. Nothing particularly bad about that but it nearly had a photo paper quality. I sometimes frame maps but they are always reference tools for me and the reflecting paper brings a different set of issues to be managed when I am working with them.
