Comments about Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi Adventure Map:
I would have given this map 5 stars had it not been for the lovely photo of a lion covering almost 13,000 square miles of map. I'm a big fan of National Geographic maps, they are waterproof and fairly durable, and have very good detail for their scale. However I still don't understand why they insist on covering what would be usable map areas with photographs. Let me take the photos while Nat Geo sticks to giving me the map to get there.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
From National Geographic:Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about this map. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying it. We try to balance the map use with the aesthetics of the photographs, and in this particular case may have erred on the side of the photograph. We have added your concerns to our comments list for this map and will likely remove the lion for the next printing.
