great Maps but .....

Comments about TOPO! Utah:
We found the maps (we bought 3 States) awkward to install, and somewhat difficult to manipulate. Once we got the hang of it, we fared better but the instructions were far from clear. We have not yet found a way to transfer the maps to Ipod touch which we carry when we hike, nor have we figured out how to use our GPS in conjunction with the maps.
It really seems as if the software is somewhat out of date in potential intuitive use.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
