Comments about National Geographic Allanson Globe:
I've purchased and returned other globes from different big name online stores and almost gave up on my desire to have a nice, affordable globe. It seemed like anything in this price range would lack one of my wishes, and those were style, quality, details, AND affordability. I was hesitant on this one because I'm not into gold/brass but loved the beige background of the map. When received I was overjoyed. The size, color, details, quality were excellent. The brass color is very neutral and goes well with my dark wood table it's displayed on. Also, I wouldn't recommend this as a toy, but a child can use this globe. Lastly, I read the comment by the other reviewer saying the quality is bad? I do disagree and it compelled me to write this opposing opinion. This is a very solid globe and compared to what I've purchased in the past at this price, I am absolutely happy with my purchase and I highly recommend it. Thank you.
