I've been subscribed to National Geographic since 1981. I keep all my issues in slip cases. The covers protect the magazines from deterioration and they look GREAT on my bookshelves. Because they are embossed with the year, retrieval, whether for pleasure reading or research, is a snap. There are slip covers for maps, too.

I ordered these in October of 2013 and they finally arrived in February. Surprised with the delay considering the 2011 set arrived as promptly as usual. Once received they look great on my book shelf and set off my collection quite nicely.

I've been using these slipcases since 1972 and I've never been disapointed. The look and feel is like an expensive book from years ago.
