Build wind-powered generators to energize your electric vehicles and charge your rechargeable batteries. The wind spins the turbine, which turns an electric generator, which in turn charges your rechargeable AA batteries (not included). You can then use those wind-charged batteries to power the model vehicles you build with our kit. The six models include a glider, sail car, jet car, tractor, racecar, and tricycle.

This kit includes two styles of wind turbine blades and a gearbox with three different gear ratios for experimenting. You can adjust the angle and number of wind turbine blades to make best use of wind, to make the LED light up brightly, and to charge the rechargeable battery as fast as possible. Explore this amazing, free source of renewable energy and store the electricity you generate for use in practical applications.

This kit includes a 40-page color instruction book with illustrated step-by-step instructions for assembling two windmills and six model vehicles, and conducting various experiments. The 133 building pieces included in this set are compatible with those in our Air + Water Power, Remote Control Machines, and Solar Power kits.

Ages 8 and up.

I expected wed be able to build both towers and several vehicles to tes and compare. We build the ling blade tower and not enough parts to build even a simple vehicle to test that the wond power generates enough electricity to charge the car battery or to find out which gear ratio 8s more effective. Wheres the science in this? The pamphlet has scant informstion on wind power.
The box pictures all the things you can build but does not say you can only build one and must take it apart to build another

    Best Uses

bought for my Grandson 10 yrs old. built windmill and have tried different blades and can't get wind or a fan to turn the blades. The blades turn freely by hand but can't get the wind to turn the blades. Even tried a large fan on high. Have tried both sets of blades and all three different gears. If anyone has any suggestions we're all ears. My Grandson is very excited but he and his Dad can't get it to work.
