We owned this series on VHS when my (now 14 yr old) son was young and they were Worn Out! He loved animals and would prefer "Spin" and these animal facts & adventures to other children's videos (even animated ones). They are entertaining & engaging for All Ages. Woderfully presented with original songs, intelligence and humor to convey a vast aray of animal facts and information. A Family Favorite which I have recently purchased for my young nieces to now enjoy on DVD.

Have had all of Spin's videos at home for the grandchildren (VHS) for about 13 years and the grandchildren loved them. My youngest son still has small children at home and they recently switched to a DVD only player and they also home school. I wanted the children to be able to still see these and thought they would add to their biology and geography lessons. They are so much fun for children of all ages.

My 6 year old grandson is very interested in wild animals and has a great attention span. He was very bored and asked me to change the videos very quickly. It was a waste of money.

My sons rec'd this set as a gift and watched it endlessly - it had to come along on any long trip. They enjoyed the talking globe/narrator, Spin, and I was happy to hear Dudley Moore's voice. They are 11 now and still watch it occasionally.

Grandkids love watching animals....just wish they wouldn't have used that cartoon "world" with British accent, as narrator....just show the animals...and have a voice..(regular American would be easier to understand). National Geo should have the best videos...these seem like they were made a long time ago. Three year old grandson likes...(but wouldn't let him watch the ones where the animals chase, catch, and eat the other animals.) I don't even like to watch that stuff, and I'm a grandma. Please tell us about animals, but you don't have to show us the gory stuff.
