Attract a wider variety of birds to your backyard by offering two different kinds of seed in this sturdy two-in-one wild-bird feeder. Developed with the British Trust for Ornithology, the epoxy-coated steel frame lets birds in for year-round feeding but keeps squirrels and predators out better than other designs. The divided polycarbonate feeding tube holds approximately 22 ounces of two different kinds of seeds or nuts. Includes mounting bracket that also serves as a lock.

          Comments about Two-in-one Bird Feeder:

I love to watch birds and get a variety at my new bird feeder. I have watched the squirrels hanging on and they try to get the seed, but cannot!! They have to pick the seed up from the ground under the feeder. I didn't think there was a squirrel proof feeder, but this one seems to be!!! WOW!

Wish someone would have told me right away that this was back ordered until August. When I ordered it I wanted it to enjoy it during the summer. I cancelled it and bought one similar somewhere else.

                Feeds squirrels and sparrows

                Comments about Two-in-one Bird Feeder:

Received this for Christmas...LOOKS PRETTY but squirels nailed the netting in two days and figured out how to dump seed in another day. Except for sparrows and a few finches, other birds were leary of entering the cage.
                Waste of money.

                Comments about Two-in-one Bird Feeder:

I stopped looking for feeders after finding this one about three years ago. It rid me of the large blackbirds that would overpower others I've owned. Unlike the other reviewers, I've had no problem with squirrels getting into this feeder. In fact, I've spent a lot of time amused while watching them try to figure out a way, but they eventually give up.

It is a bit of a hassle to clean and therefore I do so much less frequently than recommended in the instructions. It can be almost entirely disassembled, however, with a few common household tools allowing for a very thorough cleaning.

Not only would I recommend it, I have multiple times. I'm back for a second one for myself.

                Comments about Two-in-one Bird Feeder:

We bought this for a Christmas gift. It does keep the blue jays out, but squirrels get right in. Infact, you have to go out and shake the feeder to get the little guy out. The feeder is very sturdy but NOT squirrel proof!!! Wish we could upload pictures on this application... quite funny to see. I would recommend this feeder just because it is so sturdy! Birds (and squirrels) love it.

The real issue is that this feeder is advertised as squirrel resistant -- and in reality, it is not. I have a picture (which I wish I could upload) of a squirrel sitting inside the feeder munching away on my bird seed.
