Comments about Handblown Glass Hummingbird Feeder:

I thought at first, this would be, not only an attractive item for the back yard, but a nice addition for the hummingbirds. However, I found out that, "No so much" regarding how the hummingbird feeder is designed, and it needs a complete overhaul with more planning to be useable . It was far from practical for the little gaffers. I quickly realized that where the flowers/feeding areas were, they were too high on the feeder. Yes, we all know hummingbirds have long thin beaks but one can see by looking at this feeder, there was only a short area the hummingbirds could reach. Sadly, there was lots of nectar in the feeder but it could not be reached. I returned it as I had to add nectar several times a day and more ended down the sink than anywhere else :(

Comments about Handblown Glass Hummingbird Feeder:

I bought this as a gift for my dad, a hummingbird lover. He thinks it's a beautiful piece, but has never seen a hummingbird eat from it. He is retired and spends a lot of time outside, much of that time watching hummingbirds. He has tried multiple locations for the feeder, including within 10 feet of another hummingbird feeder. He often saw multiple birds fighting at the other feeder and not a single one eating from this one. While it is beautiful, it doesn't do what it is supposed to do.
