Comments about Personal GPS Tracker:
Before using this device in the field i recommend that you thoroughly read the instructions.
Its very accurate, if it is taking a few seconds to retrieve gps signal. You simply move your hand in a figure 8 (you don't walk in a figure 8... lol)
i recommend the d-tour or huntrack models which are much better than this one.

Cons

Comments about Personal GPS Tracker:
The D Ring on the unit is marginally useful. I had hoped to secure the unit on the breast strap of my backpack but could not find a satisfactory way to do so. Ended up just carrying the device in my camera bag.
My wife an I ventured off-trail on a recent hike around Upheaval Dome in Canyonlands NP. We ended up becoming separated by a ridge and could not hear each other's calls or whistles. The GPS Tracker served as an excellent "second opinion" so that I could return to the trail and rejoin my wife.

Pros
- Compact
Cons
- Pointless
Best Uses

Comments about Personal GPS Tracker:
the compass doesn't point , it just jumps in huge amounts to a rough idea of a direction; i never figured it out enough to actually use it. they tell you to initialize it by walking around in a figure 8 shape. my garmin did a better job!
