Disappointed, but Grandkid loves it.

Pros

  • Came In Storage Box
  • Sturdy body

Cons

  • Little Instruction
  • Only Low Power Works Well

Best Uses

  • First time user
  • Limited uses

Comments about National Geographic 300-1200X Microscope:

Very difficult to see items unless they are suited for low power. When trying to use higher magnification, we could not get it to focus. Eight year old Grandkid loves it. It came with box to store items in, so that was a great thing. Hopefully not too many items will get lost. I purchased a basic microscope book about two weeks prior to her receiving it. This was a huge help because it only came with a sheet with very basic information on how to use a microscope. For the price, I guess I would rate this as OK, for first time user.
