I would recommend this product. I am very pleased. It is light, compact, has an alarm clock, is easy to set time and alarm, and easy to use the tuning functions. I can't comment on the Short wave, haven't used it yet.

Very bad sound (not expected from Grundig); digital station knob does not stay on picked station, it moves up and down by itself.
