When it comes to travel and exploration, space is always at a premium, so versatility counts for a lot. Road-tested by National Geographic explorers, this performance headwear from Buff gets high marks for packing more than 10 uses into one piece of apparel.
Wear it as a hat for cold, a neck gaiter to seal out wind, a face mask to guard against dust or precipitation, a sahariane for sun protection, or an eye mask when you need to catch a daylight nap. Wear it over your head and around your face for a balaclava under ski goggles, or over your head and around your neck as a hood on chilly days. Twist it into a headband or bandana to keep your hair out of your eyes on windy peaks, or use it as a scrunchy or "Alice band" on long hair.
Emblazoned with National Geographic designs, it's made from microfiber that wicks moisture from the skin when it's hot and insulates when it's cold. One size fits all.

Comments about National Geographic Everest Multifunction Headwear:
Although I do not have the NG version, I received a Buff Multifunction Headwear product for the 2011 World Masters Nordic Ski Championship. It's a perfect neck gaiter that pulls up over your lower face when it's cold on the chairlift, 'desert rat' style hat on a sunny hike, sweet looking beanie hat and headband too! I love the design and colours of this NG version though!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
