Chalet Cuckoo Clock

Price:$199.00

Item#:2001367

Qty: Available, ready to ship.

Cuckoo clocks have been a specialty of artisans in Germany’s Black Forest and the nearby Swiss Alps since the mid-18th century. Our charming wooden chalet-style clock features a young accordion player in traditional dress, accompanied by a Saint Bernard carrying a barrel of brandy, which is a staple of Alpine folklore. A cuckoo emerges from the rafters to announce each hour. Includes automatic night-off light sensor.

Not available for shipment to Russia.

Made in Germany. Two C batteries, not included. Approximately 8 3/4"W x 8"H (17 1/2", including pinecone pendulum).

Awesome Cuckoo Clock

Comments about Chalet Cuckoo Clock:

I absolutely recommend this adorable clock. The craftsmanship is simply outstanding. My sister -in -law that has one too that is several years old and the design is almost identical to this one .This clock is much better than hers because it has an automatic shut off switch when the lights go off.We can sleep soundly through the night with no disturbances, but it's so nice to hear it during the day! This is a great heirloom to pass down to a family member that is straight from the old country..love it ;o)

      Comments about Chalet Cuckoo Clock:

We toured Switzerland in Sep 2012 and saw this Chalet Cuckoo Clock in a store, but didn't buy it. When we arrived back home we saw it in the National Geographic Catalogue and just had to have it. The clock brings back wonderful memories of our trip and looks fantastic hanging in our living room. It is beautifully built and is of excellent quality.
