Direct from the Moon
Nearly 40 years after Apollo astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin enthralled the nation when they became the first men to land on the moon, lunar exploration has returned to the headlines as new information is being uncovered about the birth of our solar system. With stunning footage from the Kaguya lunar orbiter, Direct from the Moon reveals images of the moon and Earth in spectacular detail like never seen before.
Monster Black Holes
Travel to the edge of space and beyond to discover nature's ultimate abyssblack holes. Explore where they are found, how they begin, and how it may be possible to harness and use the power they produce. In Monster Black Holes, scientists steadily piece together the complex dynamics of a black hole's birth and also examine the growth of a select few black holes to super massive proportions that dominate the centers of galaxies. As a monster black hole swallows everything in its path, it generates energy that shapes the universe around it in powerful ways.
Journey to the Edge of the Universe
The use of spectacular CGI technology allows us to take a voyage from Earth to the edge of the Universe using a single, unbroken shot. Building on images taken from the Hubble telescope, Journey to the Edge of the Universe explores the science and history behind the distant celestial bodies in the solar system.
