How our DVDs and DVD-Rs Differ
Customers who purchase programs in the NG DVD-R Library will receive a non-interactive, play only disc. There is no chaptering information on these DVDs, but there are chapter marks approximately every five minutes, which make it easy to fast forward through a program. The DVD-R format provides the digital video and audio quality you expect from all of our DVDs.

REVISED Review: Better than average

Comments about Humanly Impossible DVD-R:
I had written a "ho-hum" review after watching the first few episodes with one class. However after watching the later episodes, I've changed my rating and overall satisfaction. I WOULD recommend this to any science teacher out there. Maybe health. It is NOT appropriate for Elementary aged kids IMO. Best of luck.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

OK, but a bit sensational

Comments about Humanly Impossible DVD-R:
I bought this site unseen after getting "Brain Games", which is the best DVD EVER in my opinion. Humanly Impossible is so much like the current trend in shows where they literally take 15 minutes to set up "the topic" when 5 minutes would be fine. It's OK and my students did watch it, however it wasn't able to hold their attention like Brain Games. I just asked my class and they confirmed -- "Yeah, OK, but we've seen all these tricks"
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
