Martin and Chris Kratt are on a mission. These two brothers are activists, producers, creators of Emmy Award-winning television programs, and founders of the Creature Hero Society, a nonprofit endeavor established to empower children with an understanding of conservation and the environment. The Creature Hero Society's first project mobilized kids across North America to help set aside a land refuge called Grizzly Gulch that has become critical to the survival of the endangered grizzly bear.
Most recently, the pair has been on location filming episodes of the National Geographic Channel's Be the Creature. In this eye-opening series, the Kratts trek into remote habitats and live with bears, cheetahs, wild dogs, and other intriguing species. The men immerse themselves in their subjects' worlds for weeks on end. The result is an unforgettable series of encounters that give viewers a much more intimate perspective of the wild world.
