Many pro wrestlers got their start in the grueling and dangerous indie circuit and now National Geographic takes you inside the ring for a provocative look at the industry. Meet the promoters who struggle to put on a successful show, and the colorful performers who tough out falls and blows night after night in the hopes of reaching stardom. But injuries are not the only challenges these wrestlers face. When they aren’t in the ring, they are on the road traveling to the next event, at the gym, training or developing their wrestling personalities.
